Rentals and Reservations

The Lerner Health and Wellness Center permits George Washington University organizations, departments, and all individual patrons to reserve sports equipment for events and functions.  Equipment Requests should include the quantity and type of equipment and must be submitted to the Equipment Issue Desk at least 7 days prior to the event. Sporting equipment is reserved free of charge.  All standard replacement fees will apply if any equipment is lost, damaged, or stolen. Sports equipment reservations are on a first come, first served basis and therefore the LHWC cannot guarantee the availability of all sporting equipment requested.

Equipment Rentals

Flag Football

  • Flag belts, field cones, football, line of scrimmage marker cone


  • Throw down bases and kickball

Wiffle Ball

  • Throw down bases, wiffle ball bats and balls


  • 6 coated foam dodgeballs per set

Miscellaneous Equipment

  • Water Jugs, flip scoreboards, pinnies and yoga mats

Court Reservations

Squash Courts:
Squash courts are available for use during LHWC operating hours. All reservations will be made through our online reservation system. For the spring 2023 semester, only currently enrolled GW students have access to The Lerner Health and Wellness Center to utilize our racquet courts. Doors to all courts will remain locked when not reserved/in-use.


Racquetball Courts are currently under repair and closed for the spring 2023 semester.

Locker Rentals

Lockers are not available to rent for the spring 2023 semester. If you'd like to store your personal items for an extended period, please check in with a Manager on duty or email [email protected] for courtesy rentals for the remainder of the year.


Special Events

If an individual or organization is interested in reserving a space in LHWC for an event that they are hosting, please take a look at the information below. For example, dance marathons, fraternity/sorority events, trivia nights, sporting events, etc.
