Cardio & Strength Formats

Barbell Basics

The Barbell Basics class introduces the Back Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift; prioritizing the safe performance of these movements while implementing strategies that will help enhance general strength and overall fitness. It is recommended for anyone looking to improve their ability to perform these three lifts and learn how to advance them safely.

Barre

Barre fitness is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre (or equivalent) and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements. At Lerner, our Barre Classes are 1 hour long: 30 minutes of low-impact mat work and 30 minutes at the ballet bar, with the intention of functional strength building (specifically core and glute strength).

Barre Sculpt

1 hour of a mixture of lightweight high-rep barre movements and heavier weights for a fun full-body workout!

Cardio Kickboxing

Designed to improve the health and fitness level of the participant through a cardio kickboxing workout based on actual martial arts movement. Participants will improve their endurance, balance and strength.

Cardio Pilates Fusion

Cardio Pilates Fusion is a 45-minute high intensity, low impact workout. You will raise your heart rate, break a sweat, and work every muscle in your body. Expect to do squats, lunges, crunches, low-impact burpees, and so much more - all while being powered by the beat of the music!

Cardio Sport

A 50-minute sports driven, music infused, "team-based" training experience. This class is designed to replicate the purpose driven movement and energy of a sports game. This is Cardio Sport's signature total body workout that will develop both your cardiovascular endurance and neurological response, making you an athletic machine both on and off the field. Sessions include conditioning, agility, and strength - everything you need to create the optimal athletic body and mind.

Cycle

Using a combo of strength and speed, this fun class improves endurance with moderate to vigorous intensity cardio exercise. Participants will perform drills including: race pace, sprints, climbs, one miles, stairs, jumps and more!

Cycle & Core

 This class will be an intense 45 minute cycle class followed by 15 minutes of tabata style core exercises. A great way to get both your cardio and strength goals accomplished!

Indian Dance

This fun-filled session combines traditional Indian dance with energetic fitness routines set to Tollywood & Bollywood music. Suitable for all levels, you'll enjoy a dynamic workout while learning new moves and embracing the lively spirit of Indian dance. Sweat, smile, and get fit in a friendly environment!

Take Flight

Elevate your fitness in a dynamic 45-minute Take Flight class, merging nightclub energy with workout challenges to burn calories, build strength, and boost endurance through high-repetition movements and resistance training. Whether you're taking your fitness to the next level or starting for the first time, all fitness levels are welcome to join this fiercely energetic experience. Prepare to soar with a fun and inclusive workout that caters to various fitness goals.

Triple Threat

A combination of strength training, cardio, and core exercises to work the full body and get your heart pumping.

TRX

A form of suspension training that uses bodyweight exercises and the TRX suspension system to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. All major muscle groups can be targeted by TRX training. Also includes some mat and free weight exercises.

Mind & Body Formats

Pilates

Pilates is a low impact workout based on matching core exercises to breath. You will challenge your core and glutes with stability and mobility exercises aimed at improving posture and reducing lower back pain.

Mat Pilates

A low-impact, mat based slow flow to strengthen the full body while focusing on core, posture, and flexibility.

Power Pilates

A faster-paced Pilates-style workout with bursts of low-impact HIIT and strength exercises.

Mobility

Experience a 45-minute Mobility Class integrating soothing stretches with a Mobility Stick, mat, and your body, aimed at enhancing flexibility and joint mobility. Whether improving posture, coordination, or balance, join us on a journey towards increased flexibility, muscular strength, and newfound confidence for greater well-being. Your Best Stretch Ever awaits in this class designed to cater to your specific wellness goals.

Yoga

One hour involving body movement, breath work, yoga asanas, sun salutations and a little bit of meditation.

Power Yoga

A high energy, creative and powerful class focusing on alignment and personal awareness of the breath. The flow moves at a moderate pace, centered through the vinyasa flow. You build strength while gaining flexibility. Get ready to move and sweat!

High Intensity Formats

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

This class focuses on short duration, high intensity intervals paired with periods of lower intensity intervals for active recovery. This form of exercise can train the body to be more efficient. Expect to build endurance and lean muscle in this powerhouse of a fitness class.
