Mikayla began her yoga journey in the summer of 2014 in an attempt to battle boredom. What she found, however, was much more than a hobby. She left her first class feeling so much more at peace and was hooked from the start. Wanting to share this expansive feeling with others, she pursued her 200-hour teacher training at Kula Yoga Shala during her senior year of high school. Her passion for yoga goes beyond the physical and is deeply rooted in the belief that yoga serves as a vehicle to connect to your true higher self. Mikayla’s relaxation and vinyasa classes blend together several yogic practices from asana to pranayama to meditation while enabling you to discover your own unique expression on your mat. She hopes to hold a space that allows for each student to have a more intimate experience with the heart of their being.
